After a decade of capacity building and facilitated advocacy for improved school management and governance, Grameen Ghana has now shifted its education approach to “Partnership for Evidence and Result-Based Advocacy” (PERBA) in education. We seek to make PTAs and SMCs lead evidence generation and dissemination on education issues in their localities. PERBA is an approach that emphasises collaboration to ensure sustained harmony with all stakeholders including duty bearers instead of confrontational and reactionary approach to advocacy. The aim is to achieve convergence of ideas and resources to generate evidence and present workable and scalable interventions for improving school management and achieving higher educational attainment for children.
We are therefore inviting education sector stakeholders, PTAs, SMCs, NGOs, GES, and Researchers to link-up with us to implement this approach in Northern Ghana.
